BECOME A VOLUNTEER DURING THE 2011 EDITION OF THE WROCŁAW GLOBAL FORUM



If You want to meet new people, take part in an international event and have an opportunity to use your language skills you cannot miss the WGF2011!

Organizers of the Wrocław Global Forum will be supported by a group of Volunteers divided into 4 teams. Each of the teams will be responsible for different aspects of the event.

You will find a description of 4 task groups below.

AIRPORT

  • welcoming guests in Wrocław
  • providing transfers from the airport to appropriate venues
  • giving up-to-date and detailed information about the program, transportation and accommodation facilities
  • cooperating with other teams
  • verifying guests' identity
  • resolving unexpected issues when necessary 

HOTELS

  • welcoming guests in selected hotels
  • helping with registration
  • giving conference packages and IDs.
  • helping with check-in
  • providing information during the entire event

REGIONAL CENTRE FOR BUSINESS TOURISM

  • giving information about the venue
  • helping with moving around the RCTB (acting as a guide inside RCTB)
  • supporting the organizers with all the necessary issues
  •  registering guests
  • assisting VIP’s
  •  supervising the conference rooms,
  • helping in the cloakroom,
  • working in the press room.

TRANSPORT

  • providing transportation between the venues (airport, hotels, RCTB, etc.)
  • cooperating with other teams in order to organize efficient transfers in the city
  • giving information about transport schedules in info points.
  • acting as a „city guide” – assisting the most important guest during their transfers between the venues

Requirements:

  • perfect communication skills,

  • fluent knowledge of English,

  • knowledge of others languages will be an advantage,

  • basic knowledge of Wrocław,

  • ability to work as a team member.
